GDT

The trail descriptions for sections of the GDT between Fording River Pass and Tornado Mountain are generally written for north to south travel and are based on trips done in 2008 and 2009. Navigation concerns for south-to-north hikers are also outlined.

The GDT proper is rarely reachable directly by car or truck. Trailheads for any given segment usually requires hiking an access trail. Choose Access Trails for descriptions of the approach trails in the upper Oldman and Kananaskis Country.
